At the invitation of National Silicon LED Engineering Research Center of Nanchang University, the Secretariat of International SSL Alliance (ISA) visited this center on April 2^nd, 2018, and had a meeting with Prof. Fengyi Jiang, the vice-chancellor of Nanchang University and the director of this center and Dr. Guangxu Wang, the deputy director of this center.

 

The Secretariat of ISA had a visit at the Exhibition Hall of the center, under the guidance of Dr. Wang. Dr. Wang introduced the development history of SiLED, technological characteristics, etc.

 

 

After the visit, the Secretariat of ISA had a meeting with Prof. Fengyi Jiang and Dr. Guangxu Wang.

 

Mr. Kai Wang and Ms. Zhao Jin, the Program Managers of ISA, had a brief introduction of ISA and ISA TCS (Technical Committee on Standardization).

 

Dr. Guangxu Wang introduced the technological advantages and potential applications of Si substrate yellow LED and expressed the desire of pursuing cooperation on yellow LED.

 

The two sides had a detailed discussion on the potential cooperation, such as the cooperation on Lifi and the standardization of yellow LED and exchanged views on the potential cooperation.

 

At the meeting, the two sides agreed to set up a working group to facilitate carrying out the relevant cooperation issues in the future.
