The 2^nd Meeting of ISA-ECC Smart Street Lighting System Specialized Committee Held on Nov. 29^th, 2018 in Beijing, China

The second meeting of the ISA-ECC Smart Street Lighting System Specialized Committee (Hereinafter referred to as the "ISA-ECC Specialized Committee") was held on Nov. 29th, 2018 at Beijing U-Town Crowne Plaza in Beijing, China. Huawei Technologies was the sponsor of the meeting. The meeting focused on the current situation, problems and directions of smart lighting development at home and abroad, discussed the cross-border cooperation between communication technology and smart lighting, and jointly discussed the application of this new technologies and future development trends, etc.

The meeting was chaired by the head of co-secretariat of ISA-ECC Specialized Committee. Nearly 50 experts from Shanghai Sansi, Huawei Technologies, Zhejiang Fonda Technologies, iSoftStone, Honeywell subsidiary Tridium, Osram, Unilumin, Mingshuo Optoelectronic Technology, Opple, Xiamen G Lighting, State Key Laboratory of SSL, Shenzhen Fluence Technology, Shanxi GYLED, Inventronics, Hpwinner, Shenzhen Fcreate Energy Technology, NVC (Beijing), Shanghai Feilo, Beijing Landsky, Beijing New Space Technology, 360 Enterprise Security Group, LEDVANCE, etc. attended the meeting.

The meeting contained the following three parts:

The first part was the 2018 work report presented by Dr. Yang He from co-secretariat of ISA-ECC Specialized Committee.

In the second part, eight experts from Shanghai Sansi, Huawei Technologies, Zhejiang Fonda Technologies, iSoftStone, Honeywell subsidiary Tridium, Osram, Unilumin, Mingshuo Optoelectronic Technology made the keynote speeches, as follows:

1. Dr. Jiang Yuxi, Deputy Chief Engineer of Shanghai Sansi shared "Building Smart City Neurons with Smart Street Lamps".

2. Dr. Bo Huijian, Senior Manager of Huawei Technologies shared "Huawei Inside Iot Solutions -- to Stimulate Business Potential and Help Customers Succeed".

3. Dr. Song Hongwei, Chairman of Fonda Technologies shared "Smart Lighting and Smart Pole".

4. Mr. Cui Kun, Sales Director of Tridium (Honeywell subsidiary) shared "Niagara Enabling Smart Street Lamps -- Introduction of Niagara, the Open Internet of Things Development Framework".

5. Mr. Zheng Jiquan, the Products Pre-sales Director of iSoftStone shared the "Software Defines Street Lamps to Drive Urban Smart Lighting".

6. Ms. Diana Lu, Head of APAC Product Portfolio, LS of Osram shared "The Future Smart City Solution: Smart Street Lamp".

7. Mr. Qin Haibo, R&D Director of the Smart City Opteration Center of Unilumin shared the "Smart Street Lamp Integration Design and Application".

8. Mr. Li Xiaoben, General Manager of Smart City Business Division of Dongxu group Mingshou Technology shared "Ecological Construction and Operation of Road Internet of Things based on Graphene Smart Street Lamps".

The participants showed great interest in the topics and cases shared by the experts, and had heated discussions on each topic.

In the third part, the participants discussed the next step of the work plan, development direction, work focus, etc. of the ISA-ECC Specialized Committee.

Participants believed that the meeting had a bright theme, compact content, a large amount of cross-border information, heated discussions, and a relatively clear understanding of the overall situation of smart lighting in China.

The meeting adjourned at 18:30.
