Invitation to the  13th Meeting of BRICS SSL Collaborating Working Group 2026

“共创金砖国家照明智慧场景应用新机遇”  

Dear members of ISA and relevant Organizations,

The industrial transformation, primarily characterized by intelligence, is accelerating.  The relationship between science, technology, and industrial development has shifted  from a traditional linear progression to an almost zero-distance deep integration, with  scenario applications increasingly becoming a vital engine for translating scientific  and technological achievements. Riding this wave of the era, the SSL industry is  encountering a crucial window of opportunity to pioneer new tracks and create fresh  opportunities. 

This year's BRICS SSL Cooperation Working Group Meeting will be  themed "Creating New Opportunities for Smart Lighting Scenario Applications in  BRICS Countries " and will feature two dedicated sub-topics. The first is"Robust UV,  Enduring Brilliance: Leading the UV Lighting Industry " which will explore how  breakthroughs in underlying technologies can drive innovative applications of UV  LEDs in healthcare, industrial, and specialized environments. The second is "Visual  Health, Circadian Rhythm: Redefining Healthy Lighting " which will delve into how  cutting-edge technologies, such as full-spectrum lighting and AI-adaptive dimming,  are reshaping human-centric lighting environments to truly serve human physiological  and psychological well-being. 

China has undergone dramatic shifts and seen emerging niche markets in the scenario  applications of SSL, fueled by rapid AI integration. Its practical experience offers 2 global references and value for lighting application development across all scenarios.  This conference will gather some Chinese industry players and peers from other  BRICS countries to exchange insights and practice on diversified SSL scenario  applications under intelligent upgrading, fostering mutual learning and joint R&D and  industry advancement.
