We are pleased to announce that the 12th Meeting of the BRICS SSL WG will be held on Oct. 28-29, 2025 with the following arrangement.

 

1. Theme: Smart Street Lighting 2025: Innovative technologies bring new momentum to BRICS infrastructure development. 

2. Data Oct. 28-29 (online)

3. Time 18:00-21:00 (Beijing time)

 

As an indispensable new element in public infrastructure, smart street lighting conforms the global trend of sustainable development, help countries to enhance their infrastructure modernization, promote high-quality economic growth, and provide strong support for inclusive development and digital transformation. I believe that this topic will benefit the SSL development in cities with a smarter way particularly in conjunction of IOT deployment. The members of this WG at this meeting are invited to give a presentation of its respective countries on the current status, experience and challenges on smart street lighting development.
