Dear ISA members and relevant organizations,  

 

The following activities has been planned by ISA in the year of 2025 with the aim to meet the needs of its members and enhance the global SSL industry exchange and cooperation.  

1. China-Thailand SSL Industry Cooperation (3 Days) (May 14-16, 2025) supported by TIEA (Thailand Illumination Engineer Association)

Location: Bangkok, Rayong, and other regions in Thailand

Day 1: The 27th Meeting of ISA Technical Committee on Standardization (TCS)

Day 2: Industry and business leaders dialogue between China and Thailand SSL industry. Introduction of the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) by EEC officials, covering its general overview, business opportunities and local policies to encourage foreign investment.

Day 3: On-site visit to Rayong for an in-depth exploration of the EEC investment environment.

 

The event will be supported by TIEA (Thailand Illumination Engineer Association)

 

2. The 12^th Meeting of BRICS SSL Collaboration Working Group and Visit Chinese SSL Industry (Mid of July 2025)

Location: China

Participating Countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Ethiopia, Thailand, Vietnam, Belarus, Hungary, and others.

The meeting is designed to introduce the SSL development including cut-edge technology, innovative applications and updated products, as well as the market demands of each participating country. The participants will visit interested Chinese companies for tailored cooperations.   

 

3. China-South Africa Lighting Industry Cooperation Exchange and Business Matchmaking (August 15-16, 2025)

Location: Johannesburg, South Africa

An Industry Leaders Dialogue between China-South Africa SSL Industry Cooperation   will be held during the 19^th Annual Conference of Illuminating Engineers Society of South Africa (IESSA). The event aims to better understand the South African lighting industry and market demand, introduce China’s SSL development, and match the appropriate partners for a sustainable cooperation between the two countries.

The event will be supported by IESSA (Illuminating Engineers Society of South Africa)

 

4. The 4^th ISA Global LiFi Sumit 2025 (November 10-11, 2025)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Participating Countries: UK, China, France, Japan, Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and others

The Sumit will invite relevant experts, professors and industry leaders in Light Fidelity (LiFi) around the world, to exchange the latest developments in research and industrial applications as well the market cultivating. The event will be chaired by Professor Harald Haas, the "Father of LiFi," Van Eck Professor of Engineering at the University of Edinburgh and the Chairman of the ISA LiFi Committee.

The event will be supported by the University of DUBAI.
