The Award Ceremony of International SSL Alliance (ISA) 2024 “Global SSL Award of Innovations Top100” (Innovations TOP100) was held in the morning of Nov. 20, 2024, at Suzhou International Expo Center, Suzhou, China, during ISA General Assembly 2024.

Prof. Jinmin LI, Chairman of ISA UV LED Committee, Member of ISA Board of Advisers , Former Director of Institute of Semiconductors, CAS moderated the ceremony and revealed the winners.

Dr. Yoshi Ohno,  Member of ISA Board of Advisers, NIST Fellow, National Institute of Standards and Technology, USA, Chairman of ISA TCS, CIE Past President, as the guest of honor presented medals and certificates to representatives of the winners.

The award of Innovations TOP100 has been incepted since 2021,  A total of 6 SSL innovation projects were awarded in the year of 2024. They were:

6. Ultra-high Power Density TFV LED Chip with Circular Emission Area

(LatticePower Corporation Limited)

The award of Innovations TOP100 aims to promote and stimulate the sustainable development of the global SSL industry, encourage and manifest SSL technology, product innovation, integration and application in the field of “beyond lighting”, and advance the global SSL into a new stage of development.

This award is open to calls from around the world. The applications of this award will be judged by international well-known authoritative experts in the SSL industry independently. Every year, a number of winners will be awarded according to the TOR of the “Global SSL Award of Innovations Top 100”. In addition to the medals, certificates to the winners a dedicated brochure will be complied and circulated in the global SSL field.

Any organization in the field of SSL can submit application (s). The application (s) must demonstrate its property of innovation in technology, product or integration etc. in the field of beyond lighting. Include but not limited to the following areas:

1. Smart Lighting

2. Mini/Micro LED

3. Health Lighting

4. Visible Light Communication (LiFi)

5. Agriculture Lighting

6. UV LED Application

7. Others (Please specify)

The contents of the application (s) should have innovative property in the country/region of the applicants or the world, and reach a certain advanced level, as well as solve some key problems in practical application.
