The Global SSL Award of Outstanding Achievement (AOA) 2024 is now open for nomination.
International SSL Alliance (ISA) is a non-for-profit international organization consists of regional alliances, association/society, leading companies and renowned universities in global Solid State Lighting (SSL) field. ISA aims to cooperate with the global resources and efforts, and commit to serving and driving this great lighting revolution, to foster a more appropriate “eco-system” for the health development of the global SSL and its application, echo the needs of the society with more added value services to ISA members, strive to improve people’s living and contribute a sustainable human society.
In the past ten years, the development of SSL has exceeded people’s expectation, and its application has been extended from lighting to industry, agriculture, health, smart city and “beyond lighting” and other broader fields. The brilliant achievements are benefiting mankind. And behind it is the joint efforts of thousands of individuals, groups and organizations, including outstanding scientists, engineers, government decision makers, manufacturers, designers, standard setters, testers and so on. It is fitting that we reflect on and proclaim this journey by remembering and highlighting their remarkable contributions.
This award was successfully launched in 2013, and the laureate list is as follows,

This Award pays the utmost respect and recognition to these outstanding contributors, and also to inspire more and more individuals and groups to devote to this great cause, to move forward the history with their knowledge and innovation, to create more exciting results, to make contributions to human beings and to benefit all society.
This award accepts nominations for excellence around the world, and no fees charged for the whole process, and is judged by a dedicated jury consists of worldwide renowned experts.
The ISA Secretariat will compile and print a pamphlet (including electronic version) regarding the winners and publicized and promoted to the global SSL industry, relevant national government agencies, R&D organizations, application departments, and international organizations, etc.
The Award Ceremony of AOA will be held at the opening ceremony of the 21st China International Forum on Solid State Lighting at the end of this year.
Please submit your nomination form (s) and photos to Ms. Jin of the ISA Secretariat before June 30th, 2024. Each item in the form should be completed as required, including a brief introduction and a description of outstanding contributions, together with several photos of the nominee.
