The Award Ceremony of International SSL Alliance (ISA) 2023 “Global SSL Award of Innovations Top100” (Innovations TOP100) was held in the morning of Nov. 29, 2023, at Xiamen International Conference Center, Xiamen, China, during ISA General Assembly 2023.

Prof. Jinmin Li, Former Director of Institute of Semiconductors, CAS, Chairman of ISA UV LEDCommittee, Member of ISA Board of Advisors, moderated the ceremony and revealed the winners.

The award of Innovations TOP100 has been incepted since 2021, and this year is its third year. A total of 9 SSL innovation projects were awarded this year. They were:

The award of Innovations TOP100 aims to promote and stimulate the sustainable development of the global SSL industry, encourage and manifest SSL technology, product innovation, integration  and application  in the field of “beyond lighting”, and push forward the global SSL into a new stage of development.

This award is open to calls from around the world  and judged by international well-known authoritative experts in the SSL industry independently. Every year, a number of winners will be awarded according to the TOR of the “Global SSL Award of Innovations Top 100”. In addition to the medals, certificates to the winners a dedicated brochure will be complied and circulated in the global SSL field.

Any organization in the field of SSL can submit application (s). The application (s) must demonstrate its property of innovation in technology, product  or integration  etc. in the field of beyond lighting. Include but not limited to the following areas:

1. Smart Lighting

2. Mini/Micro LED

3. Health Lighting

4. Visible Light Communication (LiFi)

5. Agriculture Lighting

6. UV LED Application

7. Others (Please specify)

The content of the application (s) should be innovative in the country/region or the world, and reach a certain advanced level, as well as solve some key problems in practical application.
