The ISA 2023 General Assembly will be held in the morning on Nov. 29, 2023 at Xiamen International Convention Center, China. 

To echo the needs of industry and ISA members, ISA 2023 General Assembly invite the Global leading experts in relevant fields centering the theme of “The New Trends of Global SSL Development” to present the status quo, latest R&D achievements, challenges and development trends in their respective fields from a viewpoint of after Pandemic era.

Prof. Georges ZISSIS (Chairman of the 4E-Solid State Lighting Annex of the International Energy Agency; Chair of IEEE Smart Lighting Initiative, Full Professor and Vice-Rector of Toulouse 3 University (France), Member of ISA Board of Advisors) will introduce the combination of smart lighting and ICT and its applications, the smart lighting roadmap and the outlook of Lighting 4.0.

Mr. Jan Denneman (Chair of Good Light Group, Former President of Global Lighting Association (GLA) will introduce the impact of light on people from the aspects of light quality, Health & Wellbeing and the proper application of circadian lighting indoors, mitigating outdoor impacts of digital signageand the definition of high-quality artificial light.

Mr. Huaming Chen (Senior R&D director, head of LEDVANCE China R&D Center) will use smart health and environmental protection as the theme to elaborate the environmental requirements of materials and energy use in the production process. in addition to the quality and energy efficiency of lighting products,

Dr. Norman Bardsley (Specialist of SSL WG of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), CEO of Bardsley Consulting, ISA Chief Analyst) will analyze the development and market status of the global SSL industry in the post-epidemic era, combined with technological innovation and energy efficiency needs, and forecast the future development trend of the global SSL industry.

The above introductions aim to timely share with ISA members the development information and market dynamics of the global SSL industry in the post-epidemic era, gain insight into the future, and expand ideas and assist ISA members to take the initiative in the new situation, focus on the key point of the industrial chain, further cultivate the global market, collectively to promote the SSL industry to a new phase.

The winners of ISA “Global SSL Award for Outstanding Industry Development” (AOID) and “Global SSL Award of Innovations Top100” (Innovations TOP100) will be announced at the meeting, and the meeting will also award the winners of AOID and Innovations TOP100.

The ISA 2023 General Assembly will be held in the morning on Nov. 29, 2023 at Xiamen International Convention Center, China.
